Press announcement from Icelandic Meteorological Office regarding weather forecast
Icelandic Met. Office issues warning for bad weather conditions in Iceland tomorrow, Saturday 12th of March.
Weather outlook
During evening and night an intense low in approaching Iceland from the south. The low will cause gale force southeasterly winds with moderate sleet or rain tonight until tomorrow morning, mostly in the southeast. Later turning southwest strong gales or storm with frequent snow showers, possibly violent storms in the north west parts.
Travellers are advised to monitor closely weather forecasts and road conditions tomorrow.
