Sea ice in August 2007

One dispatch on sea ice north off the country was made in August, but on the 23rd a ship sailed through stray icebergs on 70°N and 19°07W.  The Coast Guard did not go on an ice-exploring flight this month.  Northeasterly winds were predominent in the Greenland strait during the prior part of the month and the last days of the month, rather slow except on the 3rd.  Rather slow westerly winds from the 22nd to the 28th of August.
