The real-time monitoring and interpretation of geophysical data
were made accessible to the public via the internet. Both automatic
and manually checked earthquake locations were displayed on
maps, updated every five minutes. Also, cGPS time series were
mapped showing deformation in the area.

Earthquake pulses on the caldera rim of 30-90 minutes duration, like the one observed last night, have been characteristic for the seismic activity linked to the caldera subsidence since the beginning of the sequence last summer.
Such pulses were observed several times per day during the first months
