Field trip

42nd Nordic Seismology Seminar, 5 - 7 October 2011, Reykjavík, Iceland

There will be a field trip to Snæfellsnes Peninsula on 6 October. We will take a guided tour of a cave, that has recently been made accessible to the public. It is cold inside the cave, so bring warm clothing. We will also go to the town of Stykkishólmur and visit the Volcano Museum, where international art and objects related to volcanic eruptions and their impact are exhibited.

After the field trip, IMO and IES invite participants to dinner at Sjávarbarinn in Reykjavík.
