Eastern and northeastern wind, 10-18 m/s, but 13-20 by the SE-coast and in the Westfjords. Rain in the eastern part, light sleet or rain in the northern part, but mostly dry elsewere. Slightly decreasing wind over night. Northeast 8-15 m/s and less precipitation after noon. Temperature 1 to 9 degrees, warmest in the most southern part, but chilliest inland in the northeast part.

Weather forecast for the next several days

On Sunday: Southeast 8 to 15 m/s with rain. Becoming south and southwest 5 to 10 m/s with some rainshowers, but mostly dry in the Northeast part. Lighter and mostly dry in the evening. Temperature 2 to 7 degrees C. On Monday: Becoming east and northeast 13 to 20 m/s with rain, but sleet in the north. Becoming southwest 20 to 25 m/s by the southeast coast in the afternoon, but westerly wind 10 to 18 m/s elsewhere. Temperature 2 to 7 deg C, colder in the evening. On Tuesday: Southeast 10 to 18 m/s with rain, even considerable in the southeast part in the afternoon, but mainly dry in the northeast. Temperature 2 to 7 deg C. On Wednesday: Southerly wind 8 to 15 m/s with rain- or snowshowers, but mostly dry in the north. Becoming colder. On Thursday: Strong east and northeast winds with rain or sleet in the south and east part, else mostly dry. Temperature 1 to 5 deg C, but around freezing point inland. On Friday: Looks like variable winds with precipitation in most parts. Light frost but over freezing point by the coast.
