Weather forecast for the next several days
On Thursday:
Becoming North and Northeast 10-18 m/s. Intermittent snow, but mostly dry in southwestern part of Iceland. Frost 1 to 8 degrees C. Mainly dry in the country during the evening, increasing frost and wind by the southeast coast.
On Friday:
Northeast 5-13, but 13-18 by the southeast coast. Dry and fair in the west part of the country. Cloudy in the east and starting to snow there in the afternoon. Frost 4 to 16 degrees C, coldest inland in the north.
On Saturday:
Northeast and north 10-15, but 15-20 in the east part of the country. Snow in the Eastfjords, east, and northeast parts. Showers of snow in the northwest part and Westfjords. Mainly dry in the south. Widely frost 3 to 8 degrees C.
On Sunday:
North 5-10, but 10-15 in the east part. Some showers of snow in the north and east, but widely dry and fair elsewhere. Frost 4 to 12 degrees C. Moderating by evening and increasing frost.
On Monday:
Rather light variable during the day, widely fair and considerable frost. Becoming southeast near gale or gale by evening with snow or sleet in the south part if the country. Becoming warmer.
