Publications
Most publications of the Icelandic Meteorological Office can be read or downloaded from the network of Icelandic libraries, www.gegnir.is.
The former Icelandic Meteorological Office and the Hydrological Service merged in a new institute January 1, 2009. Both previous institutes published reports of various kind. The titles are listed or can be downloaded from this website. For further information, contact the IMO library during opening hours.

Veðráttan magazine:
IMO issues a monthly weather overview for the previous month, using observations from Reykjavík, Akureyri, Akurnes, Keflavík, and Hveravellir. Meteorological data from manned stations are published in the magazine Veðráttan.
