CES

CES, Climate and Energy Systems, was a Nordic research project funded by Nordic Energy Fund (NER) and major energy companies of the Nordic country.

The project ran from 2007 till 2011 and its partners were all major hydrological agencies of the Nordic and the Baltic countries, as well as energy companies and organizations in the field of energy research. The project was a continuation of previous Nordic projects that were related to energy and climate change, CE Climate and Energy and CWE Climate, Water and Energy.

The aim of the CES project was to examine the effects of climate change in the long term renewable energy sources and assess their development in the Nordic energy system in the coming 20-30 years.
