1. Introduction
The world is undergoing rapid changes while globalising
constantly, which gives the consideration of the future new
urgency and importance. Scenario development has emerged as a
key method when taking

sensors, with corners at 0.033 Hz. Three additional stations are equipped with
broad-band sensors and several more have the Lennartz 5s + DM24 combination installed.
These stations will be running the τmax driver within the coming months.

to 1.3 cm over one year. In the spring of 2018, a new fracture running down the western slope of Svínafellsheiði was discovered. Recent analysis of remote sensing data shows that the area between the fractures and the glacier margin has moved at a rate of 2 to 4 cm per year in the period from late August 2016 to late August 2017.
