Sea ice in January 2008

Two dispatches regarding sea ice were made in the month, on the 19th and the 20th, and the ice-edge was northeast off shore. The Coast Guard did not go on an exploration flight in this month.

On the Greenland Strait, east and northeast winds were predominant and the sea ice therefore not close to shore.
