ICEBERG CAN BE FOUND. NOT ALL ICEBERGS CAN BE SEEN ON SATELLITE IMAGES. THE ICE COULD MOV MORE E AND CLOSER TO LAND IN THE NEXT 24HR, BUT WILL LIKELY BRAKE DOWN AND MELT WHEN THE WNDS TURN TO NE WND IN THE AREA, FORCASTED FOR TOM.

ICE REPORT 25 JUNE 2019 AT 1230 UTC SEA ICE OBSERVATION FROM RADAR RADAR IMAGE FROM THIS MORNING SHOWS SEA ICE 45 NM NORTHWEST OF KÓPUR 34 NM NORTHWEST OF STRAUMNES 40 NM NORTH OF KÖGUR 50 NM NORTHNORTHEAST OF HORN. THE IMAGE DID NOT SHOW THE EASTERNMOST PART OF THE ICE. LAST NIGHT IT REACH TO SOUTHEAST, SO BEWARE. THERE IS CONSIDERABLE DRIFT OF ICE AND IT IS BREAKING AND MELTING.

IT IS EXPECTED THAT THE ICE CONTINUES DRIFTING TO THE EAST NEAR LAND TWO LARGE ICEBERGS WERE VISIBLE ON THE IMAGE, 66°24´N 26°42´W 200M LONG AND ON 66°47´N 25°28´W 400M LONG
