Sea ice in February 2010

The Icelandic Cost Guard went on icesurvey February 10th, and the same day IMO received one observation from ship. That day the ice edge was closest to land 59 nm from Straumnesviti.
IMO did not issue any other information, as the ice edge was relatively far from shore.

Easterly- and Northeasterly winds prevailed in the Greenland Strait in February.
