Svartsengi/Þorbjörn area has significantly reduced during the last 5 days. At the same time, the seismicity has also been declining and only about 150 earthquakes have been detected in the area in the past 24 hours. This indicates that there is currently a pause in the process causing the inflation, interpreted to mean that the magma migration to this region has stopped for the time being
