All scenario groups identied 3–5 strategies of actions/milestones. Some (Sustainability Eventually) beforehand, others during
(Fortress Europe) or after the exercise (Policy Rules and Economy First). Four strategies were identied in more than one group:
1. Institutions (EcF and PoR; fundamental to FoE and SuE)
2. Economy (EcF and PoR; noted as absent in SuE)
3. Climate-related (SuE and FoE

lake is a wall of ice. On the northern side a tephra wall rises 20 meters
above the water. The ice walls at the southwestern corner of the crater
are melting, i.e. at the site of the vent that was active 4 – 6 June. The
rate of melting is assumed to be about one cuber meter per second.
Seismic tremor: Low tremor level. Pulses are observed off and on.

than can be expected to originate from the cauldrons, three to four times the wa-
ter equivalent of the accumulation of snow over the watershed of the cauldrons. It has
been estimated that flow from the cauldrons, in addition to the jökulhlaups, could be
2–5 m3 s 1 at maximum (Vatnaskil, 2005). It is possible that part of the sulfate-rich
groundwater from the glacier comes from the cauldrons

The volcanic eruption in Holuhraun is still ongoing with similar strength as last few
days. Lava flows at similar rates as yesterday towards East into Jökulsá á Fjöllum.
The lava filed was measured yesterday afternoon to be 24,5 square kilometres.
Accumulated volume of the lava is now estimated to be at least 200 million cubic
meters.

420 meters northeast of the original eruption area in Geldingadalir, which was
about 150m long and about 1meter deep. In the photos that were taken

expected that the future water level of the Horsens fiord will increase by 1meter by the end of this
century.
