IGS 2015 Höfn in Hornafjörður
A overview of sessions and social events is given below. The program overview (in PDF format) lists the presentations in each oral and poster session. A more detailed, interactive program, as well as a list of participants, and the abstracts of presentations and posters are available the IGS symposium web. The presentation guidelines (in PDF format) provide practical information for authors of posters and oral presentations such as the recommended size of posters, when to upload presentations, etc.
Special events
Sunday 17:00 and Monday 08:00: Registration at Hotel Vatnajökull.
Sunday 19:30 : Icebreaker in the dining hall of Hotel Vatnajökull.
Wednesday afternoon : Excursion to Hoffellsjökull and Lambatungnajökull.
Thursday 19:30 : Banquet at at Hotel Vatnajökull.
Oral instructions
Oral presentations are 18 minutes in total (15 minutes presentation + 3 minutes of questions).
Poster instructions
The maximum width is 0.90 m and the maximum height is 1.20 m. The A0 portrait format is ideal. Two sessions of poster will be organised, on Tuesday and on Thursday afternoons. It is important to respect the maximum width due to the width of the poster stands.
