solar radiation are of crucial importance for the con-
ditions of solar energy production. Furthermore, the need for electricity in outdoor and
indoor illumination is affected by the availability of solar radiation, especially in late
autumn and early winter when light is scant.
In this survey, we compile projections for solar radiation, especially focussing on the
