flashes per hour until noon but has deacresed in the afternoon) have
been detected.

Meltwater: Low water discharge at Gígjökull.
Conditions at eruption site: No direct observations of the eruption site today. The

flood warnings from the lower part of a catchment, which impacts on the effective response-time for
mitigating hazards.
