indicated an improved model (RMSEA ¼ 0.063 (PCLOSE ¼ 0.116), CFI ¼ 0.968). The modified model was then tested on sub-sample 2, and results showed that all proposed relations were significant and goodness-of-fit was adequate (RMSEA ¼ 0.070 (PCLOSE ¼ 0.035), CFI ¼ 0.967). Explained variance in acceptability was 51% in the first sub-sample and 49% in the second sub-sample (see Fig. 2). 3.3.2. Information /media/loftslag/Eriksson_Garvill_Nordlund_2006.pdf

activity. The subsidence rate of the caldera had shortly increased around one hour after the M5.3 and is now again back to normal rates, see graph, which also is a frequent observation associated with M>5 earthquakes in Bárðarbunga. Around 20 events have been detected in the northern part of the dyke intrusion; the strongest was 2.1 at 11:51 yesterday. Activity has been low around /earthquakes-and-volcanism/articles/nr/3011

The eruption ongoing, but rarely visible so far today. 25 October 2014 12:00 - from geoscientist on duty Seismic activity on the Bárðarbunga caldera rim continues at comparably high rates as in recent days. of Fagradalsfjall, M4,4 at 12:06, M4,0 at 12:24, M4,1 at 13:51 og M4,2 at 15:10. All those are in a similar location as the M5,7 earthquake. Our interpretation is that these are triggered earthquakes caused by the intense activity and deformation that has occurred in the area. The swarm is still ongoing and roughly 5000 earthquakes have been detected with the automatic system since the beginning /about-imo/news/earthquake-swarm-in-reykjanes-peninsula
