Scientists from the Icelandic Met Office and the Institute of Earth Sciences and representatives of
the Civil Protection in Iceland attend the meetings of the Scientific Advisory Board of the
Icelandic Civil Protection. Representative from The Environment Agency of Iceland and the Chief
Epidemiologist and the Directorate of Health, were also present

Scientists from the Icelandic Met Office and the Institute of Earth Sciences and
representatives of the Civil Protection in Iceland attend the meetings of the Scientific
Advisory Board of the Icelandic Civil Protection. A representative from The Environment
Agency of Iceland and Icelandic Directorate of Health was also present.

Updated information - eruption and seismic events
31 January 2015 - five months of continuous eruption
From the Scientific Advisory Board:
The volcanic eruption in Holuhraun has now lasted for five months. Today, there are 152 days
since a continuous eruption started 31 August 2014. Seismic activity started 16 August
