Glacial outburst flood in Múlakvísl is ongoing. Electrical conductivity is now measured around 580µS/cm and has increased rapidly the last hour.Conductivity is an indicator for the amount of geothermal meltwater in the river. Prior

volcano (caldera); three of them well-known. Some weeks before, microseismicity had been registrered near several ice cauldrons in the caldera and a flood tremor was monitored during the flood.
The Mýrdalsjökull flood monitoring system operates with two gauging stations for the glacier river Múlakvísl. The main indicator, located on the bridge on the main road Þjóðvegur 1, began to show increased

volcanoes and whether the volcano is at rest or active. But earthquakes or
changes in seismicity can be a strong indicator on an imminent eruption. By
collecting seismic data on long term it is possible to acquire knowledge on how
volcanoes behave seismically and learn to know which changes are likely to lead
to and eruption at each volcano. Earthquakes at volcanoes are usually smaller

faults. Possible scenarios are still as reported
before. If the magma accumulation will continue , uplift can continue for some
time without an eruption. Earthquake activity is most likely the most significant
indicator of an escalation in activity and an imminent eruption. The most likely scenario if there
will be an eruption is a fissure eruption close

NOAA-SWPC: Space Weather Prediction Graph - today
Figure 2. This short-term space weather prediction graph is considered the most accurate. It can be used as an indicator of the auroral activity for the next few hours. The horizontal time-axis shows the time of day

The automated hydrometric station at Gígjukvísl shows that the water level has increased by 1 metre during 20 hours (from 14 PM Oct. 31 to 10 AM Nov. 1). Since the floodwaters dig into the river bed, spread out and frequently change their course it must be kept in mind that the water level measured at a fixed location can only be viewed as an indicator of discharge. minor gases are also measured in volcanic gases. In Iceland, we are emphasizing the continuous monitoring of
CO2, SO2, and H2S gases due to being emitted
by the volcanic systems in sufficient quantities to be measureable above
background atmospheric concentrations. In particular, the significant presence
of SO2 in volcanic gases is an indicator that the gases being
measured are magmatic rather

o What are the key milestones of the process?
How the milestone can be defined in the first place? In our case, it is the success of the process of involvement.
The difficulty is how to measure milestone. One important indicator might be whether each phase has been accomplished within the time prescribed. If the
