North and northeast 5-13 m/s, strongest in the northwest and south of Vatnajökul. Some light snowshowers in the north and east, mainly in the northeast, but fair in South- and West-Iceland. Frost 0 to 6 deg. C, but widely above freezing by the seaside.
North 3-10 m/s tomorrow, but northwest 10-15 in the far east and up to 23 m/s in the south part of Austfirðir. Cloudy in the north and east and few showers of snow in the northeast until afternoon. Mostly fair elsewhere. Frost 0 to 8 deg. C, coldest inland.

Weather forecast for the next several days
On Thursday:
Light variable wind and fair, but west 3-8 m/s and becoming cloudy after noon with light snow or sleet by the west and north coasts. Temperature around and under freezing point, but becoming warmer by the west coast as the day progresses.
On Friday:
Rather light variable wind, southwest 8-13 m/s in the northwest part. Cloudy, but becoming fair in the east part. Frost 0 to 5 deg. C, but temperature 0 to 6 deg. C in the western part.
On Saturday:
Northwesterly or variable wind, cloudy and temperature around freezing point, but becoming fair and colder as the day progresses.
On Sunday:
Northerly or variable wind and widely fair. Frost 1 to 7 deg. C, but temperature above freezing point by the south and west coasts.
On Monday:
Looks like northerly wind, cloudy and light snowshowers, but fair in the south.
