Seismicity related to an intrusion near Sýlingarfell that started at 16:00 yesterday decreased steadily after 18:00 and was mostly over at 20:00. The intrusion stopped by Hagafell. Signs of continued deformation was seen until late evening/night. The activity can escalate again and magma may also reach the surface without significant seismicity.
