42nd Nordic Seismology Seminar
Reykjavík 5 - 7 October 2011
The 42nd Nordic Seismology Seminar will be held in Reykjavík 5 – 7 October 2011. It is hosted in turn by each of the Nordic Countries and is therefore in Iceland every fifth year.
The seminar is organized by the Icelandic Meteorological Office, Institute of Earth Sciences, University of Iceland, Iceland Geosurvey and Reykjavík University. Some 30 attendees are expected and over twenty talks will be given.
Two other meetings will take place in connection with the conference:
- The Nordic EPOS-coordination meeting will be held on the last day of the seminar.
- NORDQUAKE meeting will be held on Friday evening and Saturday morning after the seminar. The meeting is open to all Nordic seminar participants.
